Article 14: Second Day of Loading for HCG

Happy Thanksgiving to you all! My Thanksgiving went wonderfully even though I’m on the HCG Diet. But then I’m on the second day of my HCG diet which means that Thanksgiving was a loading day for me. I got to enjoy all the high calorie, fatty foods prevalent on Thanksgiving without messing up my dedication to follow the HCG protocol for weight loss.

I woke up and weighed myself (same as yesterday). Then I took my homeopathic HCG weight loss formula drops and my B-Total Sublingual drops. After waiting the required 15 minutes, I had cinnamon rolls for breakfast. And I didn’t even limit myself to one since it IS a loading day. I’m supposed to eat a LOT of fatty foods so cinnamon rolls were the perfect place to start.

I made an apple pie to take to our family dinner (and totally snacked on spiced apples during the process). Since it was Thanksgiving there was plenty of good “loading” foods around the house. So that was definitely not a problem. I made sure to take a break from “loading” for 15 minutes around 11 am so that I could take the HCG drops at 11:15 am. Then I made sure not to eat or drink anything for the next 15 minutes. Then I was good to go again.

I remember reading in the HCG protocol for weight loss that one common error that limits the amount of success dieters have on the HCG diet is that they don’t “load” enough during day one and two. It just confirmed my belief that I was right to choose the day before and Thanksgiving Day as our loading days on the diet. If you don’t load enough you can apparently increase your hunger, experience headaches and be cranky during the remainder of your HCG program.

I want to avoid all hunger and headaches and crankiness if possible so I’m doing my best to take in enough fat during my first two days. I’m sure that I’ll have my rough days, but if loading more fat can increase the chances that I won’t have a lot of rough days I’m all for it!

So when I say that the HCG protocol for weight loss is easy so far don’t take me too seriously. Basically I just had to eat a little bit more than normal since it was already Thanksgiving. I didn’t even have to worry about making sure I had fatty, high calorie foods around. People were coming from near and far to bring them to my doorstep. It was perfect. Tomorrow there will be a lot eating and a lot more water and herbal tea. Hmm.

Type 2 diabetes is the most widespread form of diabetes, a disease marked by high blood glucose levels. Because it’s slow, oftentimes those with this disease have no symptoms or don’t know that anything is erroneous. Here are the most common type 2 diabetes symptoms.

Thirst and Urination

The most common symptoms of type 2 diabetes are increased thirst and urination. When excess glucose builds up in the bloodstream, fluids get pulled from the tissues. The body tries to lower glucose levels by excreting more urine. People become very thirsty all the time, causing them to drink and urinate more often. It may also affect eyesight. If fluid is pulled from the lenses of the eyes, vision may appear blurry, affecting the ability to focus clearly.

Hunger and Weight

Due to the body’s insulin response, the body can’t proficiently budge glucose into cells. Hence, muscles and organs can become energy-depleted, which causes people to get very famished. Yet people may actually lose weight, even if they eat more. Since cells aren’t getting the glucose from the bloodstream, the body turns to substitute fuels for energy: those stored in muscle or fat.

Fatigue

Since cells aren’t getting the necessary fuel, people may become tired and irritable. Fatigue can be extreme, causing a foggy mind or even exhaustion at having to walk a few steps. It can often hit after large meals. People are tired, even if they sleep all the time. This can be one of the most noticeable symptoms of type 2 diabetes.

Infections

Those with type 2 diabetes get repeated infections. Sores and bruises may heal bit by bit. High blood sugar prevents cells from aggressive infection normally. Deliberate healing may also be due to poor circulation.

Other Type 2 Diabetes Symptoms

Some people, especially children, get a condition known as acanthosis nigricans – patches of dark or velvety skin primarily found in the folds and creases of the body, like the armpits and neck. It may indicate insulin resistance – a hallmark symptom of type 2 diabetes. Other people experience tingling, burning, or numbness in feet and hands. Still others have problems with sweating, dizziness, or gum disease. Men may experience erectile dysfunction. Over time, type 2 diabetes symptoms get worse and lead to more serious problems with the heart, nerves, kidneys, blood vessels, and eyes.

Around one-third of those with the disease don’t know that they have it. If people find these symptoms of type 2 diabetes known, they should schedule an appointment with their healthcare professional.

Cure Gum Infections To Prolong Your Life

According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, more than 75 percent of Americans over the age of 35 have some form of gum disease. If you regularly are plagued by a gum infection, don’t be so quick to blame your hygiene habits. In fact, many gum infections strike those with some of the best and most disciplined dental habits because of genetic factors and predisposing health conditions. But don’t let that neglect your good oral hygiene behaviors as they are still vital options to cure gum infections and effective in maintaining the health of your mouth, gums and teeth.

The most familiar gum infection is gingivitis. Gingivitis is the initial stage of gum disease characterized by gum swelling or inflammation, varying from mild to severe cases. It is common for people to be unaware of their gingivitis until their dentist’s diagnosis. Most obvious signs of gingivitis are the red gums or gums that bleed due to brushing the teeth. Further symptoms involve delicate and tender gums, foul breath, and a change in gum color – from healthy pink to a dark red.

According to the Mayo Clinic, gingivitis is caused by plaque which forms on your teeth after consuming starchy foods. These sugars then interact with the bacteria in your mouth forming plaque. Plaque is removed by brushing your teeth but it can develop again, usually within one day. When plaque sits on your teeth for more than two days, it starts to harden and forms tartar. Tartar is not only harder to remove than plaque but it also is a storage depot for bacteria which can lead to other mouth infections. The longer this tartar sits along your teeth, it starts to affect your gum line making it irritated, red and swollen.

The need to treat gingivitis immediately is necessary to cure gum infections and avoid the complications that come along with this dental condition.

Periodontitis or pyorrhea is another common gum infection that refers to the late or advanced stages of periodontal disease. Periodontitis starts out as gingivitis but over time, it can affect the ligaments and bones that keep the teeth in place. The gums become inflamed and infected and if left untreated can result in bad breath and even the loss of teeth as the gums become too affected to support the tooth.

Having a chronic illness, a unhealthy diet, and too much tobacco and alcohol use are among the common causes of periodontitis. Prevention is the best way to cure gum infections such as this, from maintaining a healthy diet to habitual brushing and flossing after every meal. Regular dental visits is also important in order to detect early symptoms of gum infections and to clear away dental plaque using various procedures.

Taking on a gum infection can be a long and difficult battle. There are more destructive forms of gum disease that can end to tooth loss, along with other serious health complications. But, if effective dental care is set up through daily brushing and flossing regular dental cleanings by your dentist fighting gum disease could be much easier and the need for to cure gum infections may not be necessary. Always remember that preventing gum infections from striking in the first place is the best option in protecting your teeth and gums from complicated health problems.

But keeping bacteria at bay will always be a daily battle. Though there is no cure-all for the bacteria that thrive in our mouths, we can defend ourselves with great cleaning products, like those containing all-natural ingredients. Packed with the power of all natural ingredients these dental products naturally kill bacteria each time you brush. Peppermint, spearmint and almond oils have long been known for their antibacterial properties, and with these three ingredients contained in your dental products you can smoothly cure gum infections faster.

Regular, consistent dental health care along with the proper products is the most excellent defense against common gum infections. Make sure to keep yourself healthy and fit. Would it surprise you to know that the best facial moisturizer is not actually a moisturizer at all?

But first what is a moisturizer and what should it be doing for your skin?

If you use a moisturizer it should help your skin retain it’s hydration. Moisture, not oil. And if your skin retains it’s moisture it is healthier, less prone to skin damage, more supple and looks and feels better.

As well as protecting itself better skin that is better moisturized just looks and feels good.

And many different moisturizers help protect the skin in different ways, for example by including a sunscreen.

But sadly there are moisturizers that can contain suspect and even dangerous ingredients.

For example you ought to avoid moisturizers that contain mineral oil. And many do. Why? because mineral oil coats your skin in oil and this can cause skin problems itself, like exacerbating acne problems.

And I also believe that moisturizers shouldn’t contain a sunscreen either. Yes it is important to protect your skin from sunburn, vital actually. But there are some ingredients in sunscreens that some believe can cause cancer. And if you’re using a moisturizer every day, as you should, then you’re putting on a sunscreen every day, which is unnecessary.

So when looking for the best facial moisturizer you need to consider the ingredients in it. There are ingredients in many skin care products, including facial moisturizers, that can cause skin reactions and allergies believe it or not.

So choosing the wrong facial moisturizer can in fact do more damage to your skin than good.

So, I’ve talked a little about facial moisturizers in general, lets look to see what’s the best facial moisturizer.

I believe that the best facial moisturizer is a range of natural skin care products from a little niche skin care company that I bet you haven’t even heard of, here’s why.

This small company makes a range of skin care and anti aging products that are designed to promote overall skin health, rather than just moisturizing, because moisturizing is only a small part of skin care and skin health. But they don’t actually make a moisturizer, what they do is add ingredients to their products that mean that their products in general moisturize better than any others.

They add ingredients to their products for the moisturizing properties of the ingredients. They don’t add a sunscreen for reasons I’ve already mentioned, and they don’t use mineral oil in any of their products.

Jojoba Oil is an example of an ingredients that moisturizes extremely well and is non allergenic and works for all skin types. It is absorbed into the skin and helps protect the skin cells from moisture loss, and makes the skin more supple.

And ingredients like this are healthy for all skin types so this small company doesn’t make products that differentiate between skin type, they don’t need to.

And vitamin B5. This also has moisturizing properties but it also helps repair skin damage and adds some natural sun protection.

And Sorbitol which is found in grapes and berries and seaweeds and others and can help the skin retain it’s moisture. It is from the seeds of the Capuacu tree.

So hopefully you get the idea. The best moisturizer is in fact a range of skin care and skin health products that moisturize better than any others, but which also come as a complete skin care routine that leaves your skin healthier and looking and feeling better, and better moisturized.

And at a reasonable price. So if you’re looking for the best facial moisturizer it may surprise you to know that the best facial moisturizer is not in fact a moisturizer at all, but is in fact the best skin care products that moisturize extremely well, for all skin types, as a part of a complete skin health program.
