I recently have moved to a new apartment. The dry heat is brutal. My skin has been drying up. I got a book at Barnes and Noble on homemade skin care with all raw or natural ingredients. Some of it is hard to understand. Does anyone know a good source where I can buy these natural ingredients, like vitamin ester C, alph lipoic acide, DMAE, cold pressed carrier oils, beeswax, quality essential oils and flower waters??? I am hoping to save some money. Thanks!!

I have 2 cats, and I have a few friends that have cat allergies. What can I do before they come over to help? I am tidy, but Im sure there is cat hair all over my house and furniture.

I’ve been needing to look for a body moisturizer, face wash, toner, skin exfoliate and acne products to care for my chest and back (I have Keratosis Pilaris on those areas) and face. So I’m wanting to know your recommendations (preferably products available at Wal-Mart and such). So what products have worked best for you? And any other recommendations just to keep my skin on those areas clear and smooth is appreciated. Thanks!

What can I do to help with my cat allergies?

I’m really wanting to have a cat in the next few years, but I do have minor allergies. They are pretty minor, the sneezing and irritation if I touch my eyes.

Some ideas I had were

1. Using a Furminator
2. Buying an air purifer that has a collection plate for my apartment
3. Buying a vaccume specificaly for vaccuming hair
4. Washing my hands and clothes frequently

Any one have any other ideas for me?

What is the best body wash do help prevent acne?

So I just started running about a week ago and I have noticed I have a lot more acne on my back. What is a good body wash or anything to put on my back that I can get in a drug store. I dont want something like proactive where I have to order it. Any suggestions would be wonderful.

I have had raging acne since I was 8 years old and it has just now began to clear up 8 years later. Under all that acne though, are the scars from many years of popping and scratching at my face. My skin is extremely sensitive and gets irritated with store bought products. So, I’m looking for a remedy that will cause as little irritation as possible.

I just made an appointment with an allergist. The receptionist told me not to take antihistamine for 7 days prior to my appointment so the test results are accurate.

Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! 7 days without antihistamine is a long, long time for someone with bad allergies, which I’m sure some of you can just imagine.

When my nose starts running like a faucet and my eyes start itching really bad, what can I do?

What is the best BODY soap to help clear acne?

Right now I am using a great product for my face. But what I am looking for now is a VERY good soap that clears up acne on the body. I do not have a sevre case of acne just light – moderate. I have acne on my chest, a little on my arms and back.

So please, if anyone has used a particular soap or body wash that clears up acne and keeps its away, please help me out!

Thank you!

How is raw honey supposed to help allergies?

Someone suggested to me to try raw honey to help my allergies.

But I’m wondering how does exposing your body to more allergens in the honey help you become immune to it eventually?

I have really bad allergies that start up in the spring.
The biggest problem is school because I can’t focus as much. I tend to get lower grades this time of year.
Right now I use benadryl before I go to sleep and claritin before I go to school, but it doesn’t always help.
Are there any home remedies or anything that could help me?
Thanks.
