I have had allergies all my life ( I am 21) and have given up hope with nasal sprays and taking pills. Will acupuncture help me? Also, what kinds of questions should I ask an acupuncturist to know if he/she is qualified?

I have really bad allergies…….you know the watery eyes, runny nose and sneezing kind and I need something to help my allergies…Something that will not make me sleepy!

My head hurts, it feels like there is a lot of pressure and some light headedness. My eyes are burning and I’m having trouble focusing them, my nose burns and I’m sneezing a lot. If it weren’t for all the pressure I am feeling I would assume allergies (I am allergic to dust) But I’ve never felt a pressure build up with allergies before. What is the best OTC allergy medication to take? I used to use flonase but its been a long time since I’ve needed anything.

What will help me get rid of the infection without taking antibiotics? I keep getting a sinus infection and the allergies are all the time. I am getting tested for what I am allergic to but would like to prevent and get rid of the infection as naturally as possible. I am using a nasal wash but it isn’t helping much at all.

I just had sinus surgery but I still continue to get recurring sinus infections

I rarely get any allergy symptoms. I don’t get ichy eyes, running nose, or sneezing.
I dont know if the doctor just didn’t do the operation right or what.
Cause I doubt I have allergies.

Persistent Coughing Can Make You A Hermit

Coughing is not only disturbing, it is also irritating. Don’t think for a second that you can get away unnoticed with your persistent cough. You will certainly send people around you into panic mode. Because no one wants to be around a sick person, you would surely repel those around you with your persistent coughing.

You might think that that’s an exaggeration. But consider it this way: coughs are filled with virus. Whatever you cough is released into the air, which the people around you breathe. It’s not unthinkable that they will get whatever sickness you have. A simple cough is bad enough already, what if you have something much worse like SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome)? They never know for sure so it’s better to stay away from you than be sorry in the end.

Don’t take insult if that happens, and that will surely happen. People will start averting their faces from you, but it’s nothing personal. You can’t do anything about how people react, but you can do something about your cough.

If you have a hovering cough that stays on for days and over-the-counter cough medicines don’t work, it’s time to call a doctor. Don’t be alarmed, though, you possibly don’t have a far worse disease than just a mere cough. Let’s hope not.Nevertheless, a doctor would know how to cure your hovering problem.

Go see a physician who specializes in Ear-Nose-Throat illnesses to help you determine the root cause of your cough. He or she will prescribe medication depending on whether your cough is dry or wet or if it linked to the mucus from your sinus or lungs.

Back at home, it never hurts to try organic solutions, such as honey and lemon. They are not only cheap, they are also filled with vitamins. It may not be just your cough you are healing, so try them yourself.

Whether you prefer natural remedies or what the doctor prescribes, you need to work on your hygiene too. As said, coughing turns off people, so don’t give them more reasons to turn away from you. Cover your mouth with a fresh handkerchief to hush up the sound and prevent the virus from spreading when you cough.

If you wash your hands regularly and apply antibacterial wipes, people would welcome the effort. It just shows that you are considerate of others, not wanting them to be infected. You can also try lozenges to help cool down itchy throats.

Don’t take insult when people turn away from you when you have cough. Remember that it’s nothing personal.
