Knowing how to do arm exercises for women the right way is important because it’s not easy to hide extra arm jiggle. If you have floppy arm flab, your clothing selection will be severely limited.

In fact, you might as well throw away all those spaghetti strap tops you have hiding in the back of your closet. What happened to the arms you used to have as a twenty-something?

I never had sexy arms as a twenty year old. But I tried so hard to get them. I spent a small war chest on every exercise program and new supplement to hit the market. I experimented with everything out there.

Please learn from my mistakes! Here are some common misconceptions about arm exercises for women that you HAVE to look out for:

1. You can’t spot reduce. It’s true that you can’t selectively lose arm fat from only one area in your body. However, arm fat is only part of the equation. Moreover, I’ve seen countless women lose tons of fat and still not have toned arms. The key is to focus on tightening the arm muscle, and on changing the amount of water and carbohydrate within the muscle.

2. Push-ups are the best exercise for the back of the arm. Do push-ups and you’ll tighten your chest, not your arms. Most of the push-up movement isolates your chest. So please don’t waste your time doing them if you want sexy arms as quickly as possible.

3. Dips. If you do dips on a regular basis, a joint in your shoulder can eventually wear out. And the only solution is surgery and 9 months of rehab. Dips put your shoulder in a very compromising and unnatural position. Don’t do them regardless of what anyone says.

4. Kick-backs. These are ok if you want to momentarily fill your triceps with blood, but not ok if you want to tone your arms as quickly as possible. Because of the position your body is in when doing this exercise, it’s impossible to add a lot of weight to the movement without compromising your form. Without a lot of weight, you can’t tone your arms quickly.

With the above tips you should be able to better navigate all the advice out there about arm exercises for women. Getting sexy arms is not that difficult, but sifting through all the advice is. Good luck!

Way too many websites claim to have the answers on how to lose arm fat. Unfortunately, figuring out which websites have the right answers can be virtually impossible.

And once you think you have finally found the solution, everything can backfire. Your arms may end up looking worse than before! This backwards step can singlehandedly eliminate any level of optimism you may have.

What can you do to avoid this?

Well, before purchasing any solutions from fitness experts, you HAVE to look out for the following indicators:

1. The weight loss cure-all. By convincing you that weight loss is the key, marketers can sell you on comprehensive (and very expensive) weight loss programs. Once you remit payment, your inbox will be flooded with myriad eBooks, audio files, calculators, etc. You will feel overwhelmed and the truth is that learning how to lose arm fat is not this complicated.

2. Questionable before and after pictures. If the person in the before and after pictures looks different then he or she is! A real before and after shot will clearly show (without any doubt) the same person. Mind you, for $3 you can pay someone overseas to modify a digital picture. So watch out!

3. Stocking stuffers. If you notice the site is offering bonus after bonus after bonus, then its time to close the window. This overused marketing tactic has invaded the internet and creates the image of getting more for less. Please do not fall for this.

4. Unbelievable discounts. If it is too good to be true then it is! Do you really believe you are getting a discount from $600 to $50? Of course not. If you order said product, you are likely to get a piece of garbage sent to your email.

5. Credential laundry-listing. Personal trainer certifications are unregulated. I passed the most regarded one in 14 days. Anybody can become a fitness professional in a matter of days. If the so called expert promoting the program lists endless fitness credentials then you may want to think twice.

Your desperate situation should not cloud your thinking when it comes to purchasing an online arm fat program. Do not let your need to learn how to lose arm fat make you weak. Make sure you look out for the above indicators when considering making a purchase and you will be just fine!
